A B O U T   M E

I remember the first time I had to recommend a bottle of wine to some customers, they had to guide me through it! Now, thousands of customers later, I have a podcast that guides listeners through the fascinating world of wines, I have written for The Buyer, Sommelier Collective and Imbibe and I have judged at Sommelier Wine Awards. 

Whether in my podcast interviews with authors, winemakers and specialists or in the articles that I write for publications, I strive to give insights on new regions, winemaking techniques and viticulture, looking at all the influences that can affect our favourite beverage. 

My motivation is twofold. Firstly, having finished my WSET Diploma, I wanted to continue learning and go into more in-depth on some of the topics that fascinated me, taking you with me in this learning process.  And secondly, I intend to participate in the Master of Wine programme. You too may have an MW within reach in a few years’ time. Or not. We shall see! 

My Looking into Wine podcast covers wine regions, styles, wine science, regional wines and producers. The podcast guests are renowned authorities on the subjects, e.g. MWs, authors, specialists and winemakers.

It has reached number one in at least 10 countries.
